Review: These are great, I recently purchased several cast iron frying pans that had short handles with no protection (timber/plastic etc) - this is great for if you want to pop them in the oven, but when using on the hot plates, you NEED a protective layer, as cast iron gets really hot, and holds the heat. These are great, and do the job well. They are easy to remove if they need cleaning.
